With GDC 2010 and the Independent Games Festival meet around the corner, Lazy 8 Studios has released an iPhone edition of COGS, its unequalled 3D teaser denomination that's up for an IFG honor for Excellence in Design. The tile-sliding mettlesome is not exclusive unequalled in that it's played on the sides of a cube, but its tiles feature working gears, wind and other machinelike pieces which must be connected in visit to rank a functional gizmo (like the jack-in-the-box above).
Chillingo, the game's house on iPhone, has also condemned the increasingly favourite move of releasing COGS for 99¢ and then offering added teaser packs that, if purchased via the App Store or in-game, bring its amount price up to most fivesome bucks. From what we've played so far, we'd say the initial assets is more than worth it -- we haven't downloaded some added content as we're ease getting finished the included puzzles. (It's tough!) Find out more at the handy-dandy App Store link below.
